The Energy Private Developers (EPD) Rwanda and the European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF) co-organize this event to promote renewable energy for rural electrification and agricultural development in Rwanda and East Africa.
The event will provide an overview on the Rwandan renewable energy regulatory framework and related trends. Participants will get the chance to exchange with a variety of public sector representatives.
By offering an opportunity for project developers, equipment manufacturers, investors, and policy-makers to meet in a structured and pre-arranged fashion, the matchmaking session will support joint business development and strengthening the local project pipeline.
Up to 200 companies, financiers and public sector representatives will be coming together to explore joint-ventures, business partnerships in Rwanda and East Africa.
The delegate fee of US$ 150 covers the organization costs of this non-profit event. It provides access to the conference, matchmaking and exhibition; lunch and coffee breaks; and conference material.
The first day focusses on presenting opportunities and trends in Rwanda’s renewable energy market both grid-connected and beyond the grid.
The second day will feature presentations from several international financial support instruments as well as an extensive matchmaking session for companies and financiers.
